Custom Residential Light Fixture
The clients just finished a major remodel to their Ravenna residence and wanted a playful ceramic light fixture for their new eclectic home. The double height stairwell has an angled roof line and a custom metal guardrail which creates a challenging space to properly light. In addition, they wanted the fixture to be the art piece in the stairwell instead of lighting the walls and draping them with two-dimensional artwork. The fixture creates a dramatic focal point that can be seen from the private spaces upstairs, the public living space downstairs, and the street outside.
