Serious Pie

Tom Douglas wanted to capitalize on the space that he rents adjacent to the Dahlia Lounge for more than just the bread production for his other restaurants. The new restaurant needed to be able to comfortably seat enough customers to be lucrative, provide enough space to cook his fabulous pizzas (my favorite is the cherry bomb pepper pizza with fennel sausage), and still leave room for baking. Budget and schedule are always motivating challenges when opening any restaurant but Tom's sense of humor made the design process fun and highly entertaining.
